Kids Academy Apps were created by a team of like minded people working together to create educational games for preschoolers.  This App consists of a large variety of digital worksheets that cover important concepts such as: drawing letters, numbers, shapes, etc.  The resource shows positive reinforcements by providing token rewards for correct performance from the student.  Unfortunately, as I tested the App. many ads popped up during my experience.  On the other hand, the graphic and visual design of Kids Academy is unique, accurate, and engaging which helps the child stay focused on what is important, which is learning.  The resource was created for children three and older, which can be accessed on an iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.

Memory Match is a simple free App that consists of seven different games that promote memory development.  These games are concentration-type educational games that help the student develop memory skills and new vocabulary concepts.  All of the games are very age appropriate and allow the parents an opportunity to determine the level of difficulty.  Each game has a different theme and is a progressive level higher then the other.  The powerful resource app allows the student to hear, see a picture, and see the word in written form to enhance vocabulary development.  After this the student uses thinking and reasoning skills to remember the location of the match.  The resource is directed towards the ages six and up, which can be accessed on iPad and iPhone.
                     

Preschool Resource App: Little Speller: Three Letter Words

Little Speller is a simple customizable flashcard app.  The app shows the student a word with a clear picture of the word.  The letters of the specific word are jumbled on the page and need to be put into the boxes designated for the letter placement.  Unfortunately, this app does not allow individualized accounts.  Also, it doesn't entail audio design, which excludes letter sounds and phonic development  Although, it is very resourceful for teachers because it allows customization of the following: feedback, lists, and rules among the app usage.  Apps was created for students age five and under.  This resources if offered among iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad.

Play Kids is a certified safe app for kids.  It allows a week long trial period, but cost $2.99.  This app consists of fun education games, videos, and book to entertain the child.  This app allows the consumer to download games and videos to use offline, anytime and anywhere.  This resource is constantly updating it's video and games to stay current and interesting.  It also entail no adds or social media links to promote the safety of your children.  It can be used on: iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.  It is a integrate resource with games directed for every age of student.

Tiny Hands consists of ten different free educational games designed by a team of child psychologists.  It is a wireless, advertisement less, only a focused game for child development, without distraction.  The ten different games focus on different ages and important development milestones for children up to 5 years of age.  Each games has a different theme story that the reader follows along, while playing games that focus on things such as: sorting, matching, classification, vocabulary, etc.  It is a specific age directed app with a variety of choices on educational games. As the student progresses the difficulty level progresses also.  Most importantly, it puts the options and thrill of learning in the toddlers hand, not the care providers.

In this free App, an Apple Distinguished Educator, creates games to promote language development for children ages 3 to 6.  This App was designed by educational and development experts to ensure the game is self-adjusting and personalized for the child's unique learning skills and weaknesses.  In the game, the child follows a octopus character that needs help juggling words.  The player learns to match age-appropriate words based on their function and nature with the octopus.  The objective is to help the octopus discover what is beneath the might ocean.  Each time that progress is made the student reveals more discoveries about the deep dark ocean.  The directions are offered in complete audio instructions ensuring it is an age appropriate resource.  It is a great parental resource because of it's included tracking system that allows observation of their child's progress, through email.  I LearnWith Boing allows your child to develop language skills and vocabulary comprehension through the following devices; Iphone, Ipad, IPod.  This app is colorfully designed and consistently active to engage the children concentration aged from five and below.

This free App is designed by Maryam to ensure interactive educational games for kids ages 2 to 5.  The App entails fun, amazing graphics, and sounds.  The game has five different rooms for learning including: EduKids Room, EduKitchen, EduPaint, EduKitty, EduKitty ABC.  Downloading all of these games is a great way to guide your children to develop interesting new skills and concepts, while forming a positive attitude towards lifelong learning.  The resource contains bright visual, active design, and auditory learning.  The EduKids Room contains 16 different educational games.  These games include: alphabet memory, matching numbers, safe box, what time, time puzzle, shape builder, shape puzzle, xylophone puzzle, train builder, robot builder, etc..  The integrated games allow you to customize your board, pick the level of difficulty, and play each game as many times as desired.  Furthermore, the app allows parental vision, customization to skill level, and progress monitor for children five and older.  The resources can be accessed on: iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.
